Between February and May 2025, the AI4GreenSME project successfully completed its Piloting Phase and Collaborative Activities, engaging SMEs and c-VET trainers across all partner countries in a comprehensive test of the training materials and e-learning platform.
During this period, the project reached its goal of involving over 140 SMEs, including both current managers and aspiring leaders interested in expanding their knowledge of circular economy and artificial intelligence. Additionally, 20 c-VET trainers—four from each partner country—participated in the piloting process, supporting delivery and helping ensure that the content aligns with vocational training needs.
The AI4GreenSME e-learning platform was launched by the end of February 2025, enabling the training to be delivered through a user-friendly and accessible digital environment. Project partners implemented a targeted outreach strategy to maximize participation, which included:
- Social media campaigns
- Mailshots via national Chambers of Commerce and SME networks
- One-on-one outreach to SMEs
- Promotion during local events and dedicated multiplier events in each country
These actions helped ensure strong engagement and broad visibility of the AI4GreenSME training programme throughout the pilot phase.
Collaborative Activities Foster SME Engagement
In April and May 2025, the project also organized 10 structured online collaborative activities, each aligned with a specific training topic. These sessions brought together SMEs and c-VET trainers across borders to explore content in greater depth, promote knowledge sharing, and support peer learning.
Each session involved:
- 6–8 SMEs
- 2 c-VET trainers
In total, more than 70 SMEs and 20 trainers took part in these interactive activities, contributing to a meaningful exchange of insights and further strengthening the implementation of the training programme.
With the piloting phase now complete, the AI4GreenSME project is preparing for the final phase of development and broader dissemination. Stay tuned for more updates as the project moves toward supporting green and digital transformation in SMEs across Europe.
